Dr Prashant Patel has been an integral member of the Specialist Dental Centre since 2001. His skill and drive have ensured the highest quality of prosthodontic care at the centre since then. His patients are assured of comprehensive care and the highest quality long term outcomes.

Prashant is a highly regarded Prosthodontist throughout the profession and is the dental professional dentists come to for their own treatment. He receives referrals for the management of complications and complex cases.

Prashant’s primary goal is to provide patients with exceptional treatment quality and care. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1993 and went on to complete his Master of Dental Science (Prosthodontics) at the University of Queensland in 2001.

In addition to providing clinical treatment, Prashant is also involved in continued education programs for general dentists including lecturing and mentorship programs. He has spoken on various topics including digital planning, treatment longevity, management of complex cases, implant and tooth based ceramic restorations as well as dental splints and jaw joint problems.

He was recently elected as a Fellow of an international dental organisation – The Pierre Fauchard Academy. Prashant is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, the International College of Prosthodontists, the Australian Society of Prosthodontists, the Australian Osseo integration Society, the Academy of Australian Prosthodontists and a committee member of the ADA NSW Inner and Greater Western Suburbs Dental Study Group.
